The release is very minor and just includes a few layout fixes for the user review submission form.

Simple Review 2.2.2 provides a beta (i.e. experimental) version of user submitted reviews to be used at your own risk. Currently when enabled any registered user may submit a review (future versions will allow more control), the review cannot contain any HTML and it must be published by an administrator before being displayed on the site (any time a user saves a review it will revert back to unpublished).
How to enable user reviews:

• Download the yvBBCode plugin (direct link). Install it. Publish it.
• Under the User Reviews tab in your Simple Review configuration set Enabled to true and add an email address to receive a notification when a user submits a review.

• While still in your Joomla administration select User Menus from the Menus menu.

  Click the New button.
  
  Click the Simple Review node (under Internal Link).
  
  Under User Reviews click the User Review – Submit node.
  

  

  Select Menu Type

  Give the menu item a name.
  
  Set the Access Level to Registered.

  

  Select Registered

• For every category that you wish to allow user reviews you must edit the category and check Allow User Reviews.
  
  

  Enable for Categories

I will be releasing a new version very shortly (mid-June is looking like an achievable deadline). It will contain bug fixes and a beta version of user submitted reviews. User reviews is currently working but lacking some features so I would like to release a beta version to get some early feedback.

Planning has also started on version 2.3. Version 2.3 will include a huge improvement to the Simple Tags system ({sr_title1} etc.) and some tweaks to the current template system. It will also include a final version of user reviews.

I would like to request some user feedback on the current template system, can you please post your thoughts here.

It has been a while since the last update.
I posted an incomplete template help page a while ago, but I am still yet to finish it. Perhaps someone out there who has managed to create their own template can help me out

I have been doing a bit of work on the user reviews. It is kind of functional but needs more security. I was going to force all user reviews to be in BBCode and not HTML, but now I am having second thoughts. Any one have any strong feelings? Please post in the forum before it is too late.
