Bugs / Re: Simple Reveiw moving modules?
« on: February 05, 2009, 06:37:04 AM »
Hello,
Thanks for the help, the work around is doing the job.
We are moving to new servers in the next couple of days, so I will re-install things one at a time and let you know if anything causes any conflicts.  Might have just been a one-off.
Thanks again
Stu

Have just noticed that with category bypass off, the first page after clicking the link is out of place, then the category view page is fine.  Still confused though :(

Changing the category bypass status has no effect.  I wasn't aware of the div code being closed early, will have a look for it.
I havent tried to change any of the php or js files, mainly because im not too sure how to.  There may be a conflict with something on the template and the updated version of SR.  The main confusion is being caused from it still looking fine when in the review article.
Thanks for the quick response, enjoying the component :)

Bugs / Simple Reveiw moving modules?
« on: February 03, 2009, 06:58:17 AM »
Since having upgraded to the new version i have had a small problem with the first page that is linked to from the menu.  The modules on the right drop down to the bottom middle of the page and Simple Reviews categories seems to be trying to force itself into the right section of the sight.  There were no problems like this on the previous version, im not sure if it was an installation issue, or something that i can edit myself.  I have tried to move it myself, but cannot think what is causing it.
http://www.golfgremlin.com/ - then click on reviews to see if you can think what is causing it.

Everything is fine once in a review, this is only an issue with the categories/bypass screens.

Thanks, Stu

Implemented / Re: Title Options
« on: February 03, 2009, 05:33:52 AM »
For me, having a title that can be rated would be an excellent feature.  I am currently working on a golf review website, and have 5 fields that we rate as a review team.  For other users to be able to rate each element themselves would be a much welcomed feature.
To maximise this feature, would users be able to sort the reviews by an individual rating from either reviewer or average user score?
Ultimately i would like to enable users to search for a review based on multiple fields such as location, individual field scores and a cost/price range field.  Fortunately we have only done a handful of reviews so do not need to rush into anything. :)
