It looks like you are running Simple Review 3.0 Beta 1?

I say this not only because you are missing the ordering and filtering but because you are missing some files in:
http://pluggedinparents.com/components/com_simple_review/templates/default/css/

You should have additional files such as:
http://pluggedinparents.com/components/com_simple_review/templates/default/css/reviewtags.css

You need to upgrade to final version of 3.0 as it has new features and fixes in the templates.

You can apply this patch:
http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/simplereview/frs/?action=FrsReleaseView&release_id=13228
