Letter filter still not working...

Hi there,

I saw in a resolved post that the letter filter was fixed in 3.0. I just updated to 3.0 and now my letter filter isn't working. It was working before, with the older version.

Any ideas?

What category template are you using? If you modified it please try one of the included ones.

If you are still having problems please post a link to your site.

Please also provide some feedback on the latest Simple Review, I want to know if it is getting "simpler".

Other than that, 3.0 is working great! I haven't utilized the user reviews yet, but hope to in the future.

Is there any way to manually set the date of the reviews on the backend? I'm importing reviews from my old Joomla 1.0 site and I'd love to be able to apply the original dates to them.

Hi,

Looks like you are using the default template but you have modified it (upgraded it and are missing the ordering and the filter fix).

Please upload the original category template.reviewlisting.html.php and only tweak it if needed.

The filter list is also too wide for your page, try changing the padding to this:
.prefixFilterOther, .prefixFilterLetter, .prefixFilterAll {
padding:0px;
}

Looks like you also need to make some tweaks to review.css as it is currently too wide for your site.
Try reducing the left padding in .reviewContentHeaderSplit2 (you can probably also remove the right margin).

I have modified the template upgrade instructions to mention that upgrading the category template will cause problems http://simple-review.com/369-3-0-0-templates.html

Thanks -- I've fixed the padding.

I uploaded the original template.reviewlisting.html.php but the filter is still not working. You mentioned I was missing the ordering and filter fix -- what is that? Can I add it myself?

I did a fresh install of 3.0 before I posted this thread, so I'm not sure how my default template would have been modified if I didn't edit it. I've never done anything with the templates, just kept the default, so I guess I'm confused about how they work.
