Hello, I am not sure I fully understand your question. Could you please ask it again in a different way?
If you are trying to make the category list your home page then this is possible. This is not a setting in Simple Review but a setting in joomla. Just make the simple review category list the home / front page / default page in the menu manager. The exact steps may vary slightly depending on the version of joomla but more or less you just mark the menu item as frontpage.

I'm using Joomla 1.7 and I created an item from the menu and I chose com_simple_review "Default
But if I go to see the front end I put the list of reviews, I would like to come out a page with categories
I explained it well?

In order to select the category change the menu item to simple_review category select instead of default. Does that help you?

I had seen that option only shows a single category, but I wanted to see the list of categories, you can not?

I apologize. I believe I mis understood you in the past.

You have more than one category (example: Music, Videos) where each category has multiple reviews.
You would like the main page to display a list of all categories (such as Music, and Videos).
Is this correct?

That is what the "default" menu item already has built in. If you set the simple review menu item to default it will show you a list of categories to select from. The number of categories to display at once is a setting in the backend configuration. By default it will be 0 - which means display all.
